I updated from 11.5 to 11.5b with the hopes that it would eliminate the flickering with crossfire, but it didnt. Flickering still occurring in Witcher 2 and Fallout New Vegas (ive given up hope on this game, from the stuttering to the flickering, with my enthusiasm for PC gaming overall similarly waning).
Ive heard of a long, convoluted way to update CAP's and drivers that seem to entail using 3 or 4 different programs and rebooting 5 different times to accomplish this, does anyone have a simplified, solid method of accomplishing this task?

I have had flickering while gaming a few days ago (after updating catalyst).
What I did to solve this was:
1: Open CCC
2: Click on "Graphics"
3: Now go to "Desktop properties"
4: "Colour"
5: Now press on "Default"
6: Go to "Desktop and Displays"
7: "Colour"
8: "Default"
This will reset your colour profile. I got rid of the flickering issue I had by resetting my colour profile. However this may not be the cause of your problem, so it may not work. Atleast it can be worth a try.

So I found out the hard way that it is possible to delete CCC with the ATI Uninstall Mobility Enhanced Aggravator Software Suite. No I get to spend a few hours trying to figure out where and how to get it again.
I have looked everywhere for CCC and all there are is updates, latest drivers, but not the program itself. I read somewhere that it comes from the manufacturer?
This is getting extremely aggravating, may post rig for sale soon, I dont have the time for this crap. -
I guess Im the only one on 11.5b and CAP5 with a persistent crossfire flickering, scrolling horizontal line issue.
The insanity intensifies.
Can the R2 fly?
Will be doing test flights soon. -
The following may help, will be experimenting and updating soon:

cannot for the life of me figure out how to "return display brightness to default level", there doesnt seem to be an option. Looking into getting a 4 year degree in Windows Operating Systems now, maybe then I can play games without issues on a PC.

9 hours and still flickering! Do the engineers do this on purpose to keep everyone busy? "Lets make things as utterly complicated as possible so as to confuse and confound the populace while we, the technocrats loot the public treasury! The Americans wont complain about endless wars, about the wealth divide, about the collapse of industrial civilization unfolding because along with Facebook and Youtube they will be busy spending 12 hours to get their new virtual colonization game (Witcher 2) going on their escapism machine!"

OMG! I cant friggin believe it! I got it running! I followed the instructions in the aforementioned link, it was the brightness settings, hopefully I can figure out how to keep the DiRT 2 settings in Radeon Pro, as of right now I have to scroll down and click on them every time in the CFX profile option.

I'm using 11.5b hotfix with CAP 5 and I get crappy performance on Witcher 2 and Fable III. No flickering but the stutters are getting on my nerves.
I see people play them on HD so smoothly on Youtube and when I launch mine, it stutters here and there. More like micro-stuttering actually. Fps is around 25-35 but no matter what I do with the settings, the fps remain unchanged. -.-
Witcher 2: 11.5b hotfix and CAP 5 Crossfire still flickering
