On my Alienware 17 I've noticed the finish on the alien head is wearing off, the finish should last longer as I barely transport the laptop. I just need to know if Alienware covers this, because this to me looks more like a quality issue. In the picture below I marked where it's wearing off. This is just driving me nuts as the finish on this laptop should last for a couple years, not a couple of months.

You may be able to get a new AlienHead installed by a technician. But for such a minor issue, it wouldn't be worth it. You could get more damage if the technician doesn't know what he/she is doing.

That would fall under cosmetic issue/damage, I doubt Alienware would cover that unless that was the condition you received the laptop new in.
