    Wrong Zotac 1070

    I have been looking for this card for my R1 for years. I wanted the Zotac to avoid cutting into my case. I thought I had the right one, but obviously not. It looks like I could cut into HDD 1 space and use as is. I assume that is what others did for other cards. It looks like on this one I could trim off the PCB. There are no races or components there. I would probably use a mitre box and hacksaw. Has anyone done that? [​IMG]

    I'm amusing you could cut it, but I'm not 100% sure. It seems like that model is built like the MSI card so that it would fit into the corresponding laptop. Also, how did you get your hands on that 1070?

    Just cut the HDD area, don't trim the card pcb
