Has anybody over here tried playing console (Xbox 360 or PS3) games on M17x?
If yes then how was the performance and by which emulators?

yeah not happening, not for another 10+ years. PS2 emulation has just reached an almost fluid state, and the PS2 is how old? PS3 is way way WAY more complex than the PS2 ever was, and it will be at least a decade before anybody even gets a working PS3 emulator demo. Its not X86 architecture, it is PPC based, so everything must be emulated, which the PS3 has 6 SPEs and a PPU. No chance, not for the forseeable future. Same deal with xbox. Hell, we may even see a Xbox one or Ps4 emulator before PS3/Xbox 360 because the new consoles are transitioning to X86 architecture.

This is true, I haven't seen any really stables PS2/Wii/Xbox emulators so far, so I think that we are really far away of getting an XBOX 360/PS3 emulator that can actually run without glitching all over the place.
