    Hey guys!

    Another USB 3.0 Issue!!

    I have EDD 1 TB External hdd and it works great in win 8.1 (my another lap)..

    but here in my alienware m17x it doesnt works.. it doesnt even shows up!! just white led is glowing.. tried installing WD SES Drivers but its not installing.. showing error that incompatible system.. then i installed intel usb 3 host from site.. saw a thread here.. even that was not installing.. same error.. this comp does not meet min req to install blah blah blah!!

    any ideas guys :(

    Try removing all these drivers and use the alienware usb drivers on your disc that came with your notebook.

    Try updating the Firmware of your USB 3.0 device.
