Does anybody know if the R2 vents will be aligned with the ZM-NC2000 vents, or will I need to slide the laptop down a little?

    Thanks.

You prolly would have to slide it down alot, actually. You'd fare better with the U3, I think, cuz you can actually move the fans, and there's no wasted space like the ZM at the top.

I'm actually considering a Thermaltake Massive23, cuz the middle of the base of my R3 gets really hot, and a fan/ventilation of some kind would be very helpful I think.

Thanks. I didn't even know about the U3, that seems like a much better option

I have a zalman nc 2000. Turn it 180* for best cooling performance. It does cool rather well without needing to turn it though.

Highest temp with 180* turn: 80c main gpu
Highest temp without turning it: 82c main gpu

Those are the highest load temps my computer has reached with that cooler.

This is a picture of my r2 on it with a 180* turn.
I used two rubber feet for hammocks to raise the back of the cooler.

Those are some nice temps, is that just with the cooler alone, or did you do some cooling mods?

Everything is 100% stock. No mod on the cooler, and no mod on the computer. I have not even repasted the gpus, because I do not want to void the warranty
