This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i would like my alien fx to rapidly blink with my outlook web portal upon new messages, could this be achieved? How would i do this

    I'm afraid that the only way to achieve this is by writing your own software with this function since Dell's Command Center isn't open source, in order to modify it and doesn't give you the ability to change the led's flashing rate in its current state.

    there is however a way to do that. there is source code available for winamp alienfx plugin, i have been already looking into it as i also want to develop something. only flaw is that it is written in C++ and i am c# developer ;-)
