    alienhead logo on back of lcd and command console

    Are these two alienheads suppose to light up when the notebook is turned on? I just had a tech come replace a motherboard and my windows is screwy so I have to reinstall the os. I don't remember if the lights came on with the system or not.

    I'm at work so don't have mine in front of me, but I do believe that these should come on a couple of seconds after hitting the power button. They should definitely be on by the time Windows starts loading.

    When you reinstall the OS, make sure you put the latest version of the Alienware Command Center software on. This will probably re-flash the AlienFX BIOS, and hopefully fix your problem.
