    alienware newbie !!! Help Please !!!!

    hi there ive got a M17x r3 with the gtx460 package.
    all the partition are deleted and i wanna a do a fresh install.

    i got the 2 disc that came with it but when i put the windows disc and at 100% install i get an error message that windows could not configure to run on this hardware.

    i even tried lo load drivers from resource disk before installing where you can load drivers but i cannot eject the disc to insert it.

    what can i do ?????

    I had the same issue. try going into the bios and setting the HDD to ATA or RAID (if RAID doesnt work, try ATA).

    that should solve the problem :D
