hi i have an alienware 2013
last month i had a problem with the laptop , i shut it down then when i started it , it made some beeb sounds
until i found the code of the sound , its a screen related

somehow i just i kept moving the screen until it booted successfully
but now each time i shut it down , the same problem happens and i have to move the screen multiple times until the laptop boots
and the screen works perfectly when it boots , i just don't know whats the problem
i updated the bios and checked for viruses , everything is clear

    Hi,

This sounds like a loose connector on the back of the lcd panel, they are usually taped down so they don't move. If anyone has disturbed it they can come loose at any time. And the way you have described it, it does sound like a loose connection.

you would need to either remove the front bezel and then proceed to remove the panel, be very careful if you decided to do this there is zero flex in the cable that connect to the lcd panel. Just take you time and support the panel as you remove it.

I found it best if you leave the top screws that hold the panel in place last...

if you want want more advice please let me know i will be glad to help.... i have removed my panel several time to upgrade it to a 120hz...

    Thanks

    Ian

It seems like the LCD cable could not be properly attached on the back of the LCD or the mobo itself. Try reseatting those.

yes it was a disconnected wire of the display adapter , duo to the short wire , that on basic usage of closing and opning the lid may disconnect it
thank you all for replying and helping me with this problem
