so i was playing marvel heroes and i was told when i logged in i had out dated drivers. so i unistalled my old drivers with driver fusion and installed the beta drivers from the amd website. first i tried to use the auto detect driver app they had and it failed on my laptop. then i installed the amd beta drivers.. when it was finished it said it had a failure but everything it shown me said success on it..now when i watch youtube videos or play games i see a line come across my screen and giving me terrible slow down in path of exile and marvel heroes.

and sidenote also i bought a this alienware laptop this year and was told it can go 1920X1080 but in my resolutions it only goes up to x900 nor can i install updated drivers for or use my switchable graphics... was i scammed or am i missing something?

uninstall all drivers, back to dell website install the latest there, (they make minor modifactions which may help it install) then UPDATE do not remove those drivers just update them to the latest BETA, this should help the installation, I would avoid clean installations of drivers on laptops unless you have a particular reason an update is usually sufficient.

yeah i went back to the dell drivers. on the website it says july 2013 but when i install ccc says they are from 2012...so you are saying just update to the beta version and don't uninstall previous drivers?

yes just update, dont need to do the driver cleaner stuff on it unless you have major issues and need to downgrade for any reason.

Might be worth trying dGPU mode only too,

    Hope this helps.

yeah just ugrading to the beta drivers caused all types of issues. first my screen went black and never recovered i had to close my laptop and then it came back..when it was finished it said it had errors but again it doesnt say what they were. i went str8 to youtube to watch a video and it had screen tearing. so i just went back to the 2012 drivers because i have no clue what else to do
