    Hey guys

I guess I spoke too soon. I noticed Audio without being cabled up to my speaker system sounding really tinny. It seems like my right speaker is dead. Has anyone else had an issue with this? When I plug in headphones or speakers both channels play properly.

The IDT audio is also confusing as hell. The test speakers function does not make any sound for me.

My machine is only a week old, I am thinking I might do well to treat it as a DOA and swap my drives. Anyone have any insight, perhaps a bad driver or something (I hope) I can do?

ok, this is very strange. Maybe both speakers are close with no stereo seperation, but using this test:
Left and right channel verification – Audio Systems : Speakers Sound Test – Woofer & Bass

i hear both tests with some difference, but both sound like they are coming from the left. Can anyone else run this? Do you hear the "right" channel come from the speaker in the far right, or does it sound like it's coming from the left?

Seems like my machine is in mono, with all sound coming out of the left speaker. Once I plug in speakers into the headphone jack I get full stereo separation. Please have a listen! Thx

sounds like a bad connection for the right set of speakers, a crimped wire or incorrectly manufactured harness would not be immediatly noticeable. Check to make sure the EQ settings don't have most of the sound coming from the Left speakers and call up your CS/Tech rep for a fixer-helper. :)

Can anyone run the linked left/right speaker verification and tell me if it sounds like both are coming from the left?

if the right speaker were blown, I would think I would not hear right channel audio at all. Someone, please :)

102 views, someone please run the channel verification and tell me if you hear it all seeming to come from the left?
