    Tried the latest 310.64 drivers?

Looks like a driver issue to me.

I remember having similar issues with brotherhood on the GTX 480 when it came out. But Nvidia solved the problem with updated drivers.

    EDIT: found it

So, theres your answer. But Nvidia will come out for proper driver support.

i havent tried 310.61 yet cuz i dont have a modded inf nor do i know how to make one.

so i managed to install 310.61 using the inf from 310.54. there was some improvement, but not much.
the discoloration on the hair and face is still there.

It shows that it's trying to play in DirectX 11? o_O According to the readout from MSI Afterburner, it's showing "D3D11" next to the FPS. The GTX 260m isn't a DX11 GPU, and honestly the game might be freaking out? @_@

I'd check settings to see if there's a way to change it to DX9/10.

ive tried several things today. so far, i have found that using one gpu works best.im getting around 30-60 fps in boston (depending on the surrounding, 60fps on top of a tall building). i also lowered the graphics settings. its playable but still could use more improvement.

7970m here and te ship i was going a solid 60fps, in boston the game is at 25fps and my gpu usage also fell to like 40-50% usage, seems like its drilling the cpu hard and bottlenecking the gpu?

i dont think its the cpu. just bad optimization or really crappy port. been watching ubisoft's forums lately and the mods there pretty much just say contact ubisoft support, which i dont think would help...
