    bad flashing Vbios

    Hey guys,
    So I have Alienware m17 r2 laptop with AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4870 as graphics card
    by mistake I flashed Vbios for 5870, now my laptop is f*cked up, because my laptopt now is very slow and FPS drops in games or when I browsing..
    i tried to uninstall all amd drivers with (AMD Clean Uninstall Utility) then i installed AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4870 from dell, but after it asks for restarting windows it shows me that I'm running 5870 not 4870 [​IMG] then same thing happens again with fps and slow laptop.
    any help will be good [​IMG] <3

    I'm not sure how exactly is your laptop stil posting, by no chance will a 4870M work if you flash a 5870M vBios on it (GDDR3 vs GDDR5 RAM, 55nm vs 40nm, ...)

    Are you sure you had a 4870M?
