    Heyy folks. Got a stupid question for my boxing day
    Adventure in the big city.
    Does xfire work with an external monitor? And
    Can I close the laptop lid and only run on external?

    I haven't seen any reason why xfire wouldn't work with an external monitor. As to your second question, you just have to go into windows power settings and set the computer to "do nothing" when the lid closes. Hope this helps :)
