    Hey guys,

Im just wondering what everyones thoughts are on keeping the broadcom wireless adaptor installed on my r3? should i keep it or will the windows stuff work?

I have it disabled right now just to try it and dont seem to have any problems with finding my wireless at home. I had trouble at school with the wireless USING the broadcom stuff and that got me thinking about what i had before i redid my comp over the weekend. i dont remember what the old wireless adaptor stuff was but i liked it better than the broadcom stuff. I was told by alienware that i have to run the broadcom one but feel differently about that statement.

    any info?

also what bluetooth drivers would replace the broadcom ones? The original one i had, i could click the icon in the sys tray and have it automatically connect to a bt device without adding it. the current broadcom one makes me add the device to the device list.

i dont want to do that lol.

should have just left this thing alone... dang it!

    update:

deleted, all is good and working how it should have worked. blue tooth is how it is supposed to be and wireless is working well. I think it is using the atheros drivers now.
