This is the Clevo version, the Dell is 2GB. I just purchased two Dell 680M from this seller. Great seller, quick shipping, however one of the cards has an issue. The seller has been very helpful and is sending me a replacement overnight, tomorrow.

The Clevo will work in the M18x, though.

    or a M17x :)

That looks to be a clevo card hence the issue there but you should be able to find a genuine dell part for a similar amount.

Hopefully this' fix' (adapted) can be used with MSI cards w/ faster Samsung VRAM modules. Crysis 3 Max settings vsync/motion blur off OC 980/2300 (GTX 680M Clevo) 1080p FXAA 2300MB VRAM allocated.

Well the MSI models support display outputs hooked straight into the card (MSI use a hybrid display setup where intel gets the internal and VGA while the dedicated gets the HDMI and display port) so it might just work out the box.

I would say avoid the issues and go with a DELL branded card, we do not officially recommend the Clevo 4GB version but you can give it a try and let us know if it worked for you.
