    or would it under clock it? also in theory if would getting faster ram than the laptop supports help with over clocking?

    EDIT: does there exist a kit of 1866 cas 9 or cas 8?

    I'm using Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2133MHz 4 x 4GB @ 1.35v
    Still need to fiddle around with timings.

    Yes, 1866Mhz RAM is supported. Some people use 2133Mhz RAM too. In regards of better cas, they will be hard to find.

    Looking for a RAM upgrade to 16GB if 1600 CL9 Corsair...I'm wondering can the AW17 take that 1866 or 2133 too ?
    Thanks ! If yes please suggest too.

    Also there are no 1866MHz with lesser latency timings afaik.
