    Just recived my new m17 today and went to canyourunit to see what exactly i can run. After running the test for several games they all come back with the resultsthat my video card isnt sufficent to run any on high settings and will not run crysis 2 at all. I have the radeon 6970 so there was a higher option.....wonderin if this is correct or if there is a solution so that i can run these games. thanks in advance.

    Stay away from that site.

    Every time it comes up it is the same thing
    " ....... canyourunit says I cant... what do I do.... oh... I actually try and play the game and it runs great.... whodathunkit....."

    Not being mean... we just get one of these threads every other week, and a ton when new laptop/game releases come out.

    Just look at the "bare specs" of a game and go from there..... or just try it as it will most likely work.

    Just play your game and have fun

    i appreciate it. just am a bit nervous still lol just recieved it today and want to make sure i am happy with it before its too late. this site has been a ton of help since i started to research buying.

    Don't even worry about it, the 6970M is the 2nd fastest single GPU on the market; it's a desktop 6850 but with lower clock speeds.
