    Somehow I enable an OSD every time in turn caps on/off....Anyone know how to disable it??

    Anyone? its a little annoying when im playing BC2 and i hit the caps, it makes the screen blank out for a second

    ummm simple fix really
    goto start menu type regedit
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> WIDCOMM -> BTconfig -> general

    keyindication change that to 0

    sir gawin did u pa when u exchange your M17x-R1 for the R2. I just bought a R2 and heard abiut the new 3D capable "R3" do you think I will be able to exchange it? Sales rep said there was no news yet.
    Sys Specs: i7-720QM, 5870M 640GB 7200RPM, 6GB DDR3 RAM.

    There is a period that you can send the laptop back without explanation for a full refund. The time period can be anywhere from 7 days after receiving the unit to 30 days, depending on your country (read the fine print in your contract). You could send it back and order a new unit instead. If you just ordered and your order hasn't been processed yet, you could try calling Alienware to cancel your order.

    Mine was well past the 30 days. I think I was in the 90 day area. I just pissed and moaned until they gave in. I was having real issues with the R1, could do anything without it freezing. Some days were worse than others, but awful nonetheless.
