    hello , yesterday dell sent me back my aw17 they change the mobo and hd . will there be any diff. of performance than stock aw? I hope there is no disadvantages. Thanks

    When any repair is done laptop should never be downgraded. It can only be upgraded if some part is not available at a time.

    You should be getting the same components that you had when it went in so there should be no difference at all. The only time there might be a performance difference is if like Porras said you get better components then you had before due to a shortage of parts OR one of the new components is defective which does not happen often.
