    whats the difference between those 2
    im about to order a alienware with 580m with 3d so i wanna buy a sdd thats why i ask

    Do you know m17x doesn't support sata 6gb/s ? those SSD won't use their capacities at max :p

    They're all wrong. Sata III is supported in the R3. Excerpt from M17x-R3 User Manual:

    Use Slot 1/Port 1 - the hard drive slot in the middle of the R3.

    look like they are having an issue with the sata III but officially, it's sata III but maybe it won't be recognized as sata III, personnaly I didn't take that risk after dell told me the m17x r3 don't, but if it's only 1 ssd, you will probably be ok but for raid0 I would reccommand to be carrefull...

    its kinnda weird but yeah im gonna buy only 1 ssd i will not take a risk on doin 2 ssd on raid

    That may be prudent. I've never really seen the need for multiple SSD's in Raid 0 in a notebook, particularly when you have a Sata III SSD, but to each his own. Good luck and enjoy your new R3.
