    crysis 2 stopped working

    After playing crysis 2 for 1 hour, sometimes after 15 minutes im getting crysis2 stopped working thing... Tried to play on stock clocks/overclocked - no difference... ... anyone getting that? 12.3 WHQL drivers

    Did you try using the stock drivers first? What about 12.2?

    When i was on stock dell drivers - i didnt had those issues with crysis2...

    You might wanna revert back to the older drivers then. Could be a broken driver idk. :(

    I don't have crysis 2 sadly, but I haven't had any issues with any of my other games.

    What drivers are you using? No overclock?

    Delete the contents of your saved games folder. If one of the saved games is corrupted it will cause this issue with Crysis, Crysis 2 and a number of other games. I've had to do that more that once to stop the problem you are describing.

    yup im running stock since I don't really need any more power for my 900p screen. I'm also running 12.3 :)

    If i delete all files under Saved Games - then i have to start it from beginning?

    Yup, but that should fix the problem. I have had to bite the bullet more than once in order to restore proper gaming operation. I don't know why the saved games get corrupted or why they cause crashing, but it's unfortunate to lose progress. You can rename and/or move (rather than delete) the Crysis 2 saved games folder to see if it fixes your problem. If it does, then you're good to go. If not, then you can put your saved games back where they belong.
