M17x R3 bluetooth is actually Bluetooth 3.0 so as long as it's working outside of motionjoy then it's working fine.

Motionjoy itself does not work with every bluetooth chip/usb dongle
plus once you connect your bluetooth with motionjoy you can no longer use that bluetooth for sharing files or anything, it will only work with motion joy and disabled for everything else

Seriously save yourself the trouble and buy 2$ VERIFIED compatible Motionjoy usb dongle [IMG]

Here is a list of what works and what does not work. http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/help/btcompatibility
I'm playing with bluetooth or usb just fine with no issues using a dongle

Thank you. And thanks for the picture. I've always dreaded those big dongles, and I'm glad to see that they make something that's itty bitty. Oh, but the list has only expensive ones. Can you link me to a $2 one that works?

There are plenty of 2$ dongles in amazon.
I don't know which one i own but it's as small as you see in the picture, i bought one from local market (unknown brand) but it didn't work for motionnjoy only worked for file sharing

Then i exchanged it from the same shop with another one  he gave me headache saying can not replace it if it's working which he confirmed to be working on his PC (lmao all of that over 2$ adapter.....) either way i told him it doesn't work for my use and changed it with another unknown brand which also cost 2$

Once i have tried the other adapter it actually did work, no signal drop or anything work flawlessly and finished few games with the PS3 controller via bluetooth, but i don't sit very far, about 2 meters only from the PC ( i connect the pc to the HDTV with hdmi)

If you get compilable adapter it would save you a lot of headache plus it's cheaper than buying xbox controller (to me hell i rather pay more just to be able to use PS3 controller over giant xbox controller :p I'm just used to the ps3 controller)

i toke a look into the list, it seems people are satisfied with this one, specially amazon users, cost 12$ and it's confirmed to work with latest version of motionjoy on windows 7 64bit smoothly

Do you know if 1 dongle will work with multiple controllers at the same time? Or do I have to buy 2 dongles for my 2 controllers to be used at the same time?

I have never tried to use 2 controllers myself but the dongle i showed you reported to be working with 2 controllers so only 1 dongle is required
