    my 17 alienware fan throttling at simple tasks with loud noise
    its annoying , i read about a fan control and one of them is not working and something is wrong with the BIOS
    anyone can help me and explain things and how to reduce the fan throttling ?

    Re-paste your laptop using IC Diamond thermal compound, and clean it out if necessary. It's most likely your CPU.

    After a re-paste, I rarely hear the fan kick on during work or watching videos.

    i will do that , but the other fan rarely works is there something i have to do ?

    I am assuming the noise is coming from the CPU, as it runs hotter. As for the GPU being quieter it simply runs cooler so you have no worries, just repaste the CPU.
