    Hi,

how would you connect a firewire only device to your Alienware 17x running Win 7 64-bit?

A USB 2.0 to Firewire cable?

An expansion card (I have a FireConnect card from Adaptec AFW-1430A) but I think its only xp?

I'm trying to get my Pro Tools 002 rack connected.

    thanks!

awesome, I was looking for the larger 6 pin firewire port. I see the 4 pin port but thought that was a media port for video cameras

    thanks!
