GPUz will also work, and allow you to keep a log file of the temps

HWMonitor has a free version which gives you (cpu temp) but you still need something like GPU-Z.0.4.3 to measure (gpu temp).

Those are your CPU temps. If you want to know how hot it runs in games, you need to leave it open during gaming. Then you will have an idea of the min/max temps it reaches during gaming and idle time.

HWinfo32 will show temps/min/max for everything that has sensors on one page. It even shows GPU utilization

I keep the back end of the laptop propped up and I also replaced the thermal paste. They barely break 70c with Furmark running, even with them overclocked.

Also, if you have yours overclocked through software, the GPU's wont downclock during normal windows operation, this could also be your problem. If you do have them overclocked this way, id recommend flashing the bios with your settings (assuming they're stable) so that they will drop in clock speeds when you aren't playing a game.

and no, i live in Texas :p, its 100 degrees outside.
