    graphic card problems with my M17x R2

    I wonder if you guys can help me with this problem. abt 2 months ago suddenly my alienware hangs while i was playing a youtube video (this literally happens suddenly) and then i think i was warned that the graphic card crashed/stopped wo, but then this problem got worst and my laptop suddenly starts to have a black screen, it won;t show anything but the start up sound still exists (as if there is a problem with the LCD, so far i never bring my laptop anywhere, it just stays at my table 24/7) well this laptop has been around for abt approx 4 years and i once ever tried to change it to windows 8 but i realized there was no driver for it, so is this like my because my laptop's been operating for around 4 years and it's starting to fail or is there a specific problem?

    Try with an external screen or a TV with the hdmi port or vga. If you have something on screen that may be your screen ribon who need to be reseat, if you don't have anything that might be the graphic card. Do you have some blinking light ( scroll lock and caps lock on the top left corner of the keyboard ).
