    Only if you remove optimus.
    Otherwise, you need the inf's.

Zoolian what do you mean? I am running the modded a08 bios and turned of optimus? Can I install the driver without having to do anything else?

If you have optimus enabled, you usually need an inf file to update drivers. Unless Dell decides to release an "Official" driver like this one. Which is once in a blue moon.

well wouldn't the device ID be the same even if you have optimus off? So it wouldn't matter if you have optimus on or off. This newest driver is supported by dell however, so no modded inf necessary :D

I can also confirm that this driver works on the GTX 460M without needing to modify any inf files. (optimus works with it too)

Drivers and Downloads I already have this downloaded, but I don't know how to install It. For ATI all I had to do was uninstall CCC (whatever it's called) and then install the new one, but for my 460m, under uninstall/add program, it has a lot of Nvidia things. Do I just install over it? I'm lost.

installing over it means running the setup exe from the driver package that you downloaded without deleting the previous driver already on the computer

Ok, thanks. I'll do that now.

Edit: Everything looks good.... except for the HDMI In. It shows the xbox dashboard, then flashes off to a black screen. Same for anybody else??
