hi all anyone got any idea what causes that.... their is a story.

my laptop was fine untill i noticed a couple of dead pixels so i called the eng to replace... which he did

but by doing this he broke the power bar plastic at the top so after few weeks i also noticed dead pixels again and my letter n broke.

so i called him out again

in the mean time ive updated the bios for mboard and bios for both 5870s

so he fitted new monitor new power bar and keypad, then i stopped working so i done a restore ( well told him to ) and it fired up and everything seemed fine.

cple of days later i thought ill have a game of battlefeild and other games and i noticed bsod sometimes and then picture taring.

so hes coming out again on monday, but ive just got in from working away and turned latop on and fans going on and off and keypad lights up but no post screen sod all... so ive had to pull battery out and put back in and tried again and it booted up..

any ideas and thanks in adavnce for any help :)

At this point you should just ask dell for a replacement system...

I had a tech come out and replace my keyboard and after that the computer wouldn't charge or even take power from the psu (after the battery died it was a really expensive paper weight)...I ended up getting a newly built replacement in about 3 weeks
