hey guys i don't know if this thread has been created or not, but here is my problem. for some reason my m17x r3 takes 3mins to boot up but every time i take out 1 piece of ram and put it back it boots up super quick again but only for the first time and after that it boots up slow. i have Kingston hyper x ram in it and its all working fine.. any ideas for solutions would be much appreciated

    thanks carl.

I just googled around and came across this...
    Soluto
Im downloading it right now to give it a try, it was recommended by several other sites, and its free...
Apparently it will tell you exactly what is slowing down your computer at start up....

Have you tried booting with other RAM modules installed? Perhaps try the stock ones if you still have them.

Did this just start out of the blue or since you put in the new RAM?

Did you try downloading Memtest and seeing if your RAM is actually good?
