Hello, I'm trying to upgrade my HDDs to a pair of brand new Intel 530 series SSD's. However when I boot Bios (Ao7) it fails to recognise these drives. Any help would be super welcomed

I have had them in and out several times and in various configs ( ie: both ssd's in, one ssd in bay 0 one hdd is bay1 and the opposite, one one ssd...) I have also tried rolling back the bios to A06 just to give it a shot.

Did you check for compatibility before making the purchase? Are there any firmware updates available for the drive?

I took a leap and purchased the 530`s after searching and not finding any compatability issues and that on intels site they suggest the older 520 for the m17x, which I read was replaced with the 530. This I know might of been foolish, however I did not think it would be this much of an issue. I have not be able to check what version of the firmware is currently loaded on the ssd`s as that intels ssd toolbox doesn't see the drive (disk management does) when the disk(s) is connected via USB-sata cable.
