Well I just bought a 675m from upgradeyourlaptop on eBay. It's a 4 GB vram model witch makes it a clevo. And have assurances it will work just fine on my r4. I plan on flashing a modded clevo vbios so I can overclock it though. I think it depends where you buy it from on the driver support though. Worse comes to worse just used an edited .inf file and you should be able to install drivers straight from the nvidia website.

I don't see why not. The R4 is designed to use a 7970 anyway, so using a Clevo version should work...in theory. But it may cause some small incompatibilities like no HDMI or fan control (not for sure, just saying). However, I would not recommend you flash a Clevo 7970m with VBIOS mean for a Dell GPU. They are obviously not identical cards. You may need to use modified VBIOS to get the full functionality out of it. But again, that's speculation.

Tech Inferno, maybe? You would probably have to search.

Don't worry about that right now. You still need your x-bracket and you need to physically install your 7970m before you go worrying about VBIOSes and such.
