    how to customise alienware 17?

    Hi,

    I'm looking at a new alienware 17, but here in the UK at least it seems you can only choose from a handful of prebuilt configs, the customiser has a distinct lack of options.

    Basically I want:

    120hz screen
    780m
    I7 4800 or 4900
    8gb ram
    DVD drive
    No caching ssd and a small HDD.

    I have HDDs and msata ssds kicking around and don't want to pay massive dell premiums for them. Same story with ram. Bluray is pointless IMHO.

    Is there some way to order a customised version? (Don't want to trawl eBay as I don't trust it and want to take advantage of dell discounts and claim the vat back)

    Had a look at resellers like HIDEvolution? (They have been amazing for me, but please read about others' experiences with them before buying)
