    What you need:

    WIN 7 OS CD/VDV & Novicorp WinToFlash

    Download WinToFlas file

    After you save the file, install it

    Follow the instructions to mount the files on a USB (you most need a 8GB USB).

    Now with OS mounted on the USB you are ready to install from the USB

    Reset the computer

    HIT F12 at the first instant you "see Alien life on the screen."

    Now Select USB to boot from the USB directly.

    Wait few seconds - Minutes after the files are loaded

    Now you are ready to install the OS from the USB

    I hope this little instructions save time and headache

    there is another way to do it that will work with any external hdd, ill look for the walk-through, i thought all of this was common knowledge.....

    Edit:
    Install Windows 7 From USB Drive/Pen Drive

    i used this method on my external Hdd as well.

    i found this method works well and you dont need wintoflash.
