    how to enable synaptics multi-touch on my m17xr4

    I would like to enable multi-gestures on my computer for the touchpad and @alienwaretech told me to "Hello, It has to be activated thru the Synaptics software in Windows Control Panel or Command Center"
    I cant seem to figure out how to do it.. do I need to download a new driver or is everything already on my computer just needing to be turned on?? I would appreciate any help on the subject! Thanks in advance

    go to "Mouse Properties" window

    go to the last tab on top right "Device Settings"

    click "Settings" button and this will open the Synaptics Touchpad window where you can play with all the settings.

    Oh, this thread reminded me to actually set mine up, finally. My pre-purchase thoughts were that the touchpad was crap, cuz the store models had none of them properly set up. After going into the Synaptics settings, I've got SOOOO much functionality now. I take bake everything bad I ever said. :D
