    Is anyone running Hyperx 1866 8 or 16GB without BSOD's?

    you sure you want to do this? Its about 50/50 for those that have had issues and had to downclock them to 1600 for stability and those that plug them in and are having no issues at 1866

    No BSOD here. I think people who have issues are messing with XMP profiles where this ram is PnP.

    Try it out. If it doesnt work. Return them. Thats what I would do.

    Well I originally had 8gb 1866 and I kept getting blue screens and when I ran the Diagnostic tool in the boot options menu the memory part kept giving me error messages. The timing on 1866 is supposed to be 11,11,11,30 but when you try to set it in the bios the 1st number won't go higher than 10. I bought it from Amazon they are great, sent it back for a full refund and they even sent me a prepaid shipping label.

    Im really wondering then how other people can run these memory with no problems whatsoever then.

    Maybe people don't know that they are running them downclocked? I'm sure some users have them running fine but my 1600Mhz need XMP 2 to achieve the correct speeds as they aren't PnP but will BSOD everywhere if I even think about upping the BCLK. Still, not matter, 7.9 WEI :D
