Lol its me again, sorry for making so many new threads but I'm repurchasing my laptop from alienware and they've made the prices higher. I'm looking at sacrificing my 2720 processor and 2gb ram for a 6970m upgrade from the 460 and the laptop is still going to be 200 dollars more expensive.

Already downgrading from the 120hz screen 3d bundle.

Does the 2720 make a huge difference from a gaming perspective?

Crysis, SCII, MWF and BF are the games I primarily play.

On a side note, how does the 6970 work for these games?

Difference between the 6970 and the 460 will be 10 to 20 times more for gaming than the difference between the 2720QM and the 2630QM. Go for that way before you go for the 2720QM. The processors will make a 1-5 fps difference in most games. Will likely be negligible.
