Sorry if the post is not all that relevant in this forum but in my experience there are never any replies on the iTunes forums. Anyway I wondered if anyone with the Alienware M17rx3 running the 6970m graphics card has recently updated to the latest iTunes 10.4 (made available for download on Wednesday)?

I updated my laptop and now the cover flow has lost alot of fluidity and seems quite sluggish. It's not terrible but has certainly lost some zip. Anyone else seeing the same? I am still running the dell stock drivers. Although I don't think graphics card drivers are to blame as I switched to the intergrated graphics and still see the same sluggishness. Pre upgrade using iTunes 10.3.x cover flow was smooth as silk. Even a pretty low end graphics card should be able to cope with cover flow (even my 4 year old iPod nano runs it absolutely fine!)

All other games/software, benchmarks (3d mark 06) seem to be fine so it's all pointing to lazy coding by Apple. I guess if I was running OSX the cover flow would be zipping along as they probably don't prioritise windows users.

    Thanks
    Wayne
