    my m17x R3 in sig and thinking about m18x R2:
    3820QM
    7970m in crossfire
    6gb ddr3 1600mhz
    500gb HDD

    alot of performance boost ill get?

    the only thing that keep me from getting a M18x is its size...Its too much for me.

    Not to question your decision, but what games are you playing that aren't running adequately on your M17x? My M17x has no issue with any of the games I've thrown at it.

    I agree with darkdomino. I haven't found a game yet that my M17X-R3 can't play and it is a lot lighter than the M18X. I had an R2 before this and I can assure the extra 1 Kg can be felt if you regularly carry your computer.
