no particular reason, just I got used ot this system

the game what I want to play ,all of them are DX9 game

    obviously,
Win7 system benched lower 3DMark06 score than that in WinXP
    SM2.0 / SM3.0 / CPU Score

the CPU is not stable after overclocking in Win7 (2.8GHz 266x10.5)
I alter the muti from 9 to 10.5
then i would see BSOD at the beginning of the Win7 start

In XP , the CPU is even stable in (304x11)

Yes, but don't think that there are many of us running XP on this system.

Anyway, which version have you tried, it seems that nVIDIA dropped support for the 200M series almost a year ago.

    BTW
do you know how to completely disable the 9400M video unit in Bios ?

When I disable the [Hybrid] and [integrate graphic]
I can't see the start logo after I press the button

both of the GTX280M cards are correctly installed

I run games smoothly with my GTS160M in MSI-GT628 notebook with 266.58 driver in Windows XP , without any INF mod

but I cant install the driver in M17X R1 in Windows XP.....

    now I even can't play Warcraft3 :(

To answer your first question regarding the 9400M, there is no other way but the one you already tried.

Ok, 266.58, I'll look into it and come back to you.

What's the error you are getting? From what i see, it should install.
