    how long will these gpus last at medium settings. im thinking of buying a m17x or the np8150 both with the 6990m gpu. i want this new laptop to last 3 years medium settings. is this possible?:?

    Both the 6990M and the 580M are brand new cards, so there is really no way to assess their durability at this point.
