Hoping someone can help. i've spent ages searching to no avail. i'm trying to find a post from a guy that linked to a bunch of gtx580m vbios files including ones with different voltages. I used one of these to up my card to .92 and set p0 and p1 the same but i'm getting problems with p3 (75mhz) kicking in on some games and want to see if a lower voltage inproves things. Had a roll back disaster last week and lost the files. i'll use nvidia inspector to tweek..

The google search Yoda... made (to your stuff - thanks!) got me to one i can use AND the links to the other stuff i lost like nvflash+commands so i'm off and testing again. -
First question is have you performed the throttlefix with matched P1 and P0 clocks? Because your video card with throttle to P8 early if you haven't updated the vbios yet.
Now if you have, then your video card should clock to P8 at 79C whereby you need to consider a repaste or elevate the back of your laptop. -

elevating the laptop helps but seeing p8 at 72C is weird...
Forgot, this is real world gaming that i get this problem (and in different games) not benchmarking.
Tried fear 3 and it hangs before getting to the menu. bioshock 2 hangs on tile screen although i have seen this back in the day and a force to dx9 cured it - since im running the steam version i've got to trawl through their stuff to find out how to pass a a parameter. If you have any ideas of what to try i'd appreciate it! -
Honestly, if you try to find something for 5 minutes and come up empty you should post a thread asking. Since I knew the search terms to use it took me less than a minute to find it. There is no reason for you to beat your head against the wall when it is so easy for people who know what to look for to help you out.
Sorry about your health problems, hope you are feeling OK now and that you continue to improve. -
