Not quite sure how to word this because its a strange issue really. Basically I am running into massive slow downs when crossfire is enabled, like it feels like its not even running in crossfire mode, and when I disable it, it feels like it IS running in crossfire mode. Gameplay is nice and smooth for most games when its disabled, second i do enable it thru the CCC my frame rate just completely tanks! there is no other word for it, and its in simple games like Worms: Revolution or Fifa 15, games that are hardly taxing anything too.... frame rate in FIFA for example is about 50fps with xfire disabled, enabled its in the teens.... its like its backwards or something in the driver... Currently using Driver version 14.9 and now that AMD got rid of the xfire profiles I don't even know if thats the issue now..... One thing I found strange was that when I loaded up GPU-Z it showed that GPU 1 bus interface was pci express 1.0 and gpu 2 was pci express 2.0 so I dunno if that was causing it either. I have also checked a bios update and looks like im already running the latest bios driver for this laptop which is A10.
I have just recently installed all brand new drivers after using DDU to completely remove my old drivers so im pretty sure those have been installed correctly and without any errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Laptop as it stands Battlefield just really isn't an option as where it used to play it just fine...

Did you try a clean install of the OS to eliminate any other issues?... and what OS are you running?.. i've noticed win 8 / 8.1 hates older cards in CF

ahh yes i should have said, i am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.... no didn't reinstall the OS... Im actually kind of wondering if the 2nd GPU is just dead... because the lag is just absolutely massive and yes some games aren't xfire friendly either... but even the ones that are though its kind of ridiculously slow right now... maybe I'll just reinstall the drivers again see if that does anything.

Did you try running any benchmarks with CF on, to compare the scores with the ones on notebookcheck.net?
