Anyone knowing what kind of cable to buy to replace this?

Ive lost all the lights in the buttons, only thing working is my power button but not light in that either.

    Could it be other problems?
My computer isnt very easy to start anymore. It stalls during startup almost all the time, before BIOS is loaded ending in a black screen and fan noice and some DVD spinning sounds. I've checked my BIOS battery, it has 3V still so should be OK.

Must admit, what started this to be a problem was a screenfreeze in a game, had to hard boot the computer and after that i had problemst starting windows too the times it goes by the BIOS problem. It just stops in Windows logo. Guess i have corrupted data now due to the shutdown.

Dont know either why I got the freeze.

Have you checked the temperatures and ran a PSA? It would be wise to run that (hardware diagnostic located on F12 at boot). About the lights on that area, we may need to replace the entire board, I believe it's a single assembly that has the board and cable.

Freeze was caused by dying 7970M.

Was hoping the hingecover cable is at fault. Ive been re-seating it plenty times and looks as if its got a bit of wear.
But cant seem to find exactly what cable it is.
