Alright , just before you all start flaming , i dont care if the original plan got canceled but while searching through out dell's accesories here is what i found :

Interesting ha?![]()
-
others have poseted links with the "up to" wording just about since the R3 was released.....still waiting.
-
Aha , I see , Theoriticaly speaking though dell should of noticed this by now maybe this is actually a good sign.
-
Judging by how disorganized their site/customer service system is I would have to say that they may truly not have noticed this yet if it is indeed a typo.
-
This is ooooold....It's been like this since before launch.
EDIT: Link goes to Dell Outlet....Nothing there about a 485. -
Well, after the M15x was refreshed with the DX11 GPUs, the website still said "Up to GTX 260M". So I wouldn't get my hopes too high there...
Sorry to burst the bubble... -
Well, TECHNICALLY the 485M DOES in fact work LOL...
Just not through normal channels...
I swear if 3D worked I would jump and buy another 485m
-
Dont see it happening anytime soon. Since it has been for casted to be in it for awhile now if im not mistaken.
-
Is anyone still trying to get this working?
-
You're a couple of months late, this link and this discussion have been beaten to death already. If Dell wanted to offer the 485m they would have by now, so if there will be a new nvidia gpu offered it will probably be a card in the 500 series.
And btw it's should "have" noticed (or should've) not should of noticed
-
its a shame its hard to find a reasonable 3d capable card/ screen on a laptop. all the high end ones seem to be ati
-
Well, my thinking is, if Im going for performance and would consider then ATI then still I get no 3D. If I choose the 485m I get the best laptop card and perhaps in the future 3D will work. You cant even get the 120Hz LCD with the ATI card so seems better to get an nVidia.
I dunno still thinking about it. :<
