    You missed this thread :)

I prefer if its offered from Dell itself instead of throwing the ordered graphic card then replacing it off with a 900$ 485M

Judging by how disorganized their site/customer service system is I would have to say that they may truly not have noticed this yet if it is indeed a typo.

Well, after the M15x was refreshed with the DX11 GPUs, the website still said "Up to GTX 260M". So I wouldn't get my hopes too high there...

    Sorry to burst the bubble...

Well, TECHNICALLY the 485M DOES in fact work LOL...

    Just not through normal channels...

I swear if 3D worked I would jump and buy another 485m :(

You're a couple of months late, this link and this discussion have been beaten to death already. If Dell wanted to offer the 485m they would have by now, so if there will be a new nvidia gpu offered it will probably be a card in the 500 series.
And btw it's should "have" noticed (or should've) not should of noticed ;)

Well, my thinking is, if Im going for performance and would consider then ATI then still I get no 3D. If I choose the 485m I get the best laptop card and perhaps in the future 3D will work. You cant even get the 120Hz LCD with the ATI card so seems better to get an nVidia.
I dunno still thinking about it. :<
