    m17x R1 keeps waking from screensaver

    Im having a small issue. I recently formated my m17x r1 and since then the screensaver will never go on. I enabled screensaver and even set it to turn of monitor after a few mins but the problem persists. I went ahead and downloaded a little program called shutter and when i force the monitor to shut down from there it does work but a second later the screen turns back on as if i had just moved the mouse...

    There is one other issue which may or may not be related. The brightness controls (fn+f4 or f5) dont work, the gui shows up and goes up and down but the brightness itself stays the same.

    I really have no idea where to look next, any ideas?
