Hei guys, i got this wiered problem latelly with my R2 - 2 x 5870. I simply get half the FPS in games when the crossfire is enable. If i play on one card everything is fine. I tested this mostly on BFBC2 since it's a demanding game. So with crossfire ON i get about 20-30 FPS; then i go solo card and the FPS jumps to normal 60 FPS. I have to mention the system is rock solid ... no crashes no BSOD nothing...all is well except i get crappy FPS when crossfire is enabled. I have A10 bios, latest dell official drivers (i reinstalled these with no success)...so any ideas ?

Dell drivers are your issue. Install the latest AMD drivers with the CAP profiles. That should help.

I run autodetect tool on AMD website and it wants to install V 11.9 (8.892) 64 bit driver. Do i have to uninstall the old driver or just install the new one over ?

I have the same problem too. when i disable CF my FPS went up the problem for me is that i cannot install official ATI driver from amd website. I believe since I update my vBio there a problem when i install a driver form ATI website. Everytimes i install the driver the error pop up and say [Application Install: Install Package fail] i play both the Battlefield 3 beta and Bad company 2 and has the same problem. My current driver is dell's latest driver from 2010.
