    what is the max physical size hard drive the 17 r2 take, as i am looking into putting a 1tb or more in her but these drives i have noticed are taller etc than the standard 2.5"

    I guess the caddy will only hold a 9.5mm height HDD, but I could be wrong. Some large capacity drives are 11.5mm I think.

    the drive i was looking at has a height of 15mm :(

    9.5mm, largest drive is 1tb as far as i know.
