    m17x R2 not booting with crossfire hd5870

    First i did search this forum for an answer to this question: my M17x R2 won't boot with 2 mobility hd5870 cards. i flashed both cards in the primary bank and they both boot in single mode. when seating both cards (with- and without crossfire cable attached) the machine does not show the alien bootscreen. the lights of the system go on and sometimes the GPU fans do their thing...

    I swapped the 2 cards with the old 4870's in crossfire again and that works. can anybody tell me why the 2 5870's dont work in my system?
